Soup and Sweet Lunch at St. Oswald’s

On Thursday 28 April 2011 we had our, now, annual Soup & Sweet lunch.

The Menu for this year's Soup & Sweet Spectacular was as varied and delightful as ever.
SOUPS:
Courgette & Tomato
Mushroom & Watercress
Scotch Broth
Leek & Potato
SWEETS:
A wide selection of sweets, cheeses and biscuits.
The event, laid on annually by a small number of really dedicated helpers and organised again by Joan Dixon and Mary Cawood, raised over £500 for St. Oswald's Church funds.

After all had fed Revd. Peter McCarthy thanked the workers and announced the many winning numbers for the raffle.
