Lessons & Carols 2011
Xmas Supper 2011
St Oswald’s Farnham
Lessons and Carols
at St. Oswalds 2011
The evening of the 20th December 2011 saw the villagers of Farnham and the Benefice of Walkingham Hill gathering once more to hear and sing about the Christmas Story. It was ‘standing room only’ by 7.00 p.m. when Canon Peter opened this annual treat. Lessons were read by parishioners, the Walkingham Hill Choir sang for us and we all joined in the traditional carols. Following the service we were served the now traditional mulled wine, mince pies, spice cake and cheese. Thanks to all who helped to make this a splendid occasion.
